Bromic Eclipse Smart-Heat Electric Heater and Light

by Bromic
$3,684.99

One fixture instead of two, so your ceiling stays clean.

Most covered patios end up with a heater in one spot and a light in another, and neither looks like it was planned. The Eclipse does both from a single pendant. Warm light and infrared heat, adjusted independently, from something that reads as a light fitting rather than equipment.

Includes the 24 inch twin ceiling pole as standard. 3 year warranty. Free shipping across Canada. 30-day returns. Authorized Bromic dealer.

Is this the right heater for you?

Choose the Eclipse if you:

  • Want heat and light from one fixture rather than two
  • Are heating an enclosed or screened patio, where a gas heater is not an option
  • Want to go from dinner to drinks without changing the lighting
  • Care how the ceiling looks from underneath
  • Have a ceiling or wall to mount to and 8 feet of floor clearance

Want the same thing freestanding? See the Eclipse Freestanding. Only need heat and the light is irrelevant? The Platinum Electric costs less.

The short version

  • 2900W of infrared heat, adjustable at 33, 66 and 100 percent
  • Covers 121 sq ft
  • Dimmable warm white LED, 3000K, 497 lumens, controlled separately from the heat
  • Ceramic screen spreads heat evenly and keeps glare down
  • 304-grade stainless steel, matte black
  • 24 inch twin ceiling pole included, five other pole designs available
  • 30 lbs, 96 inch minimum floor clearance
  • 3 year warranty

It works where a gas heater cannot

This is the part most people miss. Electric infrared produces no combustion byproducts, so it needs no ventilation. That makes it the option for a screened porch, a three-season room or an enclosed patio, where a gas heater would need at least a quarter of the wall volume left open.

If you have closed your patio in, or plan to, this is the heater that still works.

Heat and light, controlled separately

Heat runs at 33, 66 or 100 percent. The LED dims independently across its full range, in 1 percent steps on the remote. So you can run warm light with no heat on a mild evening, or full heat with the light down low once the table is cleared.

Control it through the Bromic app with the Affinity Eclipse Controller, or with the Eclipse Dimmer Controller and wireless remote if you would rather have something physical in your hand.

Mounting, and the height that matters

Ships with the 24 inch twin ceiling pole as standard. Five other designs are available: 8 inch and 48 inch straight poles, a curved pole, a wall mount pole, and a single 24 inch straight.

Minimum floor clearance is 96 inches. Aim to mount between 8 and 10 feet above the finished floor. Higher than that and the heat spreads too thin to feel properly on a cold night.

Built to last outdoors, best kept under cover

304-grade stainless steel with a double-coated finish, built for outdoor conditions. Bromic recommends mounting it under a covering rather than fully exposed to rain, snow and salt mist, which keeps the finish looking right for years.

Hardwired install by a licensed electrician. Confirm your circuit before ordering: the unit draws roughly 11 to 14 amps depending on voltage.
