Designed for Canadian outdoor living. One controller runs a single heater; add channels to zone a whole patio, a restaurant terrace or a commercial deck from one box.
Heat only where people are.
Scheduling and zoning mean you run the heaters that matter, when they matter, instead of all-on all-night. That is where the running-cost saving comes from, you are not paying to heat empty space.
1–5heaters per controller
One box, many heaters.
Each controller comes in 1, 2 or 5 channel versions, so a single unit can switch or dim up to five heaters or zones.
App + walltwo ways to run it
However you like to run it.
A physical wall plate for staff and guests, or the Bromic app for scheduling, zoning and scenes from your phone.
One system for gas, electric and Eclipse.
There is an Affinity controller matched to every Bromic heater. Pick by fuel and family, and they all speak to the same Bromic app.

View details →What does the channel number mean?
A channel is one heater or one zone. A 1-channel controller runs a single heater. A 2 or 5 channel controller switches or dims that many heaters, together as a block or independently as zones. A restaurant terrace with eight heaters split into two zones is a channel-count question, so tell us the layout and we will size it.
Questions people ask.
Which Affinity controller do I need for my heater?
Match it by fuel and family. Gas heaters, Tungsten Gas and Platinum Gas, use the Affinity On/Off. Electric heaters, Tungsten and Platinum Electric and Marine, use the Affinity Dimmer for 1 percent step dimming. The Eclipse pendant uses the Affinity Eclipse controller, and the Eclipse freestanding uses its own Wi-Fi and Bluetooth control. Tell us your heater and we will confirm.
What does the channel number, 1, 2 or 5, mean?
It is the number of heaters or zones one controller runs. One channel is a single heater or zone. Two or five channels switch or dim that many heaters, together as one block or separately as zones. Count your heaters and how you want to group them, and we will size the controller.
Do I control it from an app or a wall switch?
Both. There is a physical wall plate for simple hands-on control by staff or guests, and the Bromic app for scheduling, zoning and scenes from your phone. The app is where the running-cost savings live, you heat only the areas with people in them.
Can I add Affinity to heaters I already own?
Yes, in most cases. Affinity is built to control the current Bromic Smart-Heat range across gas, electric and Eclipse. Send us your exact heater model and we will confirm the right controller and any wiring you need before you order.
What is the Affinity Expansion Board for?
It ties the Affinity system into home or building automation and adds capacity for larger installs. If you are running a commercial patio, a hospitality terrace or a whole-building system, the Expansion Board is how Affinity scales. For a single home patio you do not need it.
