Gas or electric patio heater: which should I choose?
Electric wins where there is no gas line, where you want to dim the heat, and where you want a recessed ceiling install that disappears. It is the more reliable choice in wind because there is no pilot to blow out. Gas runs hotter over a big open area. If you have power but no gas, or you care how the heater looks, electric is the answer. The catch is your panel, a 4500W unit is a real load, so check your capacity first.
Can a Platinum Electric heater be recessed into the ceiling?
Yes, and it is the most refined recess Bromic offers. A standard recess kit sets it flush, and a low-clearance recess kit suits tight ceiling cavities. Plan the recess before the ceiling is finished. The result is a clean, built-in look with no visible housing.
What is the difference between the Platinum Electric and the Marine version?
Same heater, same output and dimming. Do electric patio heaters need a dedicated circuit?

Black or white, is there a performance difference?
